General info
Padang Padang Beach is one of the most touristy beaches on the Bukit Peninsula, and Bali in general. In front of the entrance to the beach, on the other side of the main road, is a big parking area with some hawker stalls. Parking your bike will cost you Rp. 1000 (€0,06).
To access the beach, you will have to pay an entrance fee of Rp. 15.000 (€0,90) for adults and Rp. 10.000 (€0,60) for children. Due to this, they are able to keep the beach and the surrounding area clean, as well as feed the monkeys that live here. A price worth paying for in our opinion.
Walking down the stairs from the entrance, you will have to make your way down a rock crevice like you are in the avatar. Once on the beach, you will be greeted by monkeys (so keep your belongings close) and locals selling their delicious coconuts and a variety of snacks.
If you are going to surf at Padang Padang, you can leave your belongings at one of the food stalls in exchange for a cold drink or hot meal once you have finished your surf sesh.
Padang Padang Beach is close to some of the other spots the Bukit Peninsula has to offer, like Bingin, impossibles, and Uluwatu.
