General info
Keramas was one of Bali’s biggest surfing secrets, and although there was some discussion about it, no one knew where it was. Then a picture taken from a plane was released, and the search was on.
When it was discovered, it was developed at a breakneck pace to accommodate the swarms of surfers that flocked there. It’s quick, it barrels, and it’s an accessible wave. For experienced surfers.
The Komune Beach Resort has installed enough lighting to illuminate the whole wave during the evening, and you can either paddle out for a surf sesh after the sun sets and surf while the rest of the crew eats dinner or drinks beer, or you can go to bed early and surf at first light. Whatever you prefer.
Keramas is one of the best right-handers out there, and during the rainy season, it attracts surf fanatics and pros alike.
